12 Hour (2) Day First Aid at Work Requalification

This course is run over two day's and is for those first aiders who have already attended the Three day Full First Aid at Work course and are still within the 3 year period of their certificate. (a 28 day period of grace is given if this period is exceeded the student must re take the full three day initial First Aid at Work course again)

• Introduction to First Aid
• Safety first / Managing the incident
• Choking
• Causes and treatment for the unconscious casualty
• Causes and treatment for a casualty who is not breathing CPR
• Heart Attacks
• Control of bleeding both minor and major
• Shock types and treatments
• Soft tissue injuries and fractures
• Poisons / including Anaphalaxis
• Burns and Scalds including Electrical
• Various common illnesses
• Eye injuries
• Any new requirements (guidelines or Treatments)
• Other areas of need or concern to the company
• Regulations as per current guidelines
• Reporting of occurrences at work
• First Aid Equipment

At the end of the course students will be independently examined and will be awarded a certificate on successful completion and meeting the required standards. First Aid Consultancy & Training Services provide a manual free of charge along with this course.
